MADE TO ORDER

Over the years customers have commissioned me to knit bespoke pieces for special occasions. Shawls and wraps to co-ordinate with wedding dresses, Mother of the bride/groom and for Mothers welcoming newborns.

Since moving to Wales, I’ve embraced this beautiful land and language. Words that even without knowing what it means (non Welsh speakers) when heard the vibration is feel good. Cwtch is a Welsh word for a warm, affectionate hug, cuddle or embrace. It implies a ‘safe place’ It represents comfort, love and affection. This sums up the feeling and intention of this piece.

Knitted using super soft Lambs wool, has a subtle honeycomb texture, light weight yet warm. Can be loomed and matched to your requirements. Offered in seasonal colours but if you would like to discuss your own special piece, please get in touch via email jules@juleshogan.com

Designed in the Welsh Borders and carefully crafted by ‘Jules’ on a reconditioned knitting machine. The fabric is gently washed to slightly felt, pressed and finished by hand.
